About Paul Weingarden
Paul Weingarden was raised by a mother who valued education and instilled a strong work ethic in him, so at the age of 12 he began working — as a newspaper delivery boy, ballpark vendor, and parking attendant — and became the first in his family to graduate from college.
With no financial support from his family, Paul worked full-time throughout his undergraduate years, and later, his time in law school. Despite his demanding schedule at the University of Minnesota, he volunteered for civil rights in Mississippi, served as a VISTA volunteer in East Los Angeles, volunteered for legal aid in North Minneapolis, and interned at the US Attorney’s office in Minnesota.
After graduating from law school and working as a prosecutor for two years, Paul founded a real estate law firm that still bears his name after 42 years. Beyond achieving personal success, Paul has always aspired to leave a lasting impact on others pursuing their dreams. This motivation led him to establish a scholarship program. He hopes that in the years to come, future generations will benefit from his assistance, enabling them to achieve their aspirations with less financial burden, and perhaps remember the benefactor who helped them along the way.
