Isadore & Molly Boroff Israel Scholarship

The Isadore & Molly Boroff Israel Scholarship is available for Minneapolis metro-based Jewish residents ages 18-30 who plan to participate in a Masa-recognized Israel program that lasts at least two months.

Scholarship Details at a Glance

  • You must be aged 18-30 during the period of your program
  • Your permanent residence is in the Minneapolis metropolitan area
  • The Israel program must be:
    • At least two months in length
    • Masa Israel-recognized; and 
    • Administered by a non-profit organization, or have a U.S. fiscal sponsor

Award amounts are based on program fees. Depending upon demand in any scholarship round, awards will be made up to the amount indicated below, based on program fees.

The Boroff Israel Scholarship Fund is not a needs-based grant. The Minneapolis Jewish Federation will make scholarship awards directly to the Israel program provider or fiscal sponsor. Deadlines are December 2, April 14 and July 21. Decisions will be announced by late January, May, and mid-August.
