Young Adult Leadership Action (YALA) is a non-denominational community hub thatsupports the growth of young Jewish adults (ages 25 – 40’s) and empowers them to make Judaism their own.
YALA stewards the growth of individuals and believes in fostering long-term relationships to involve Jewish young adults as active community volunteers, leaders, and visionaries today and for years to come.
Creating an effective pipeline of engagement for young adults with YALA requires a strategic approach that fosters
a sense of ownership, purpose, and long-term involvement.
YALA has two pillars with key stages and actions to engage young adults:
A vibrant and educational initiative that brings Jewish history, culture, and contributions into public life through curated and immersive cultural experiences. This program is designed to celebrate Jewish identity and build cross-cultural understanding.
A transformative, values-driven professional development journey rooted in Jewish teachings, identity, ethics, and responsibility. The program is designed as a structured, immersive, and inspirational journey to develop professional qualities across different stages along with various opportunities for networking.
