My name is Justin Kadet, and over the past two months I’ve had the privilege to be the Marketing Intern at MJF. Throughout my time in the office, I was able to make meaningful connections with so many people across the organization and learn in a hands-on environment.
From day one, employees from every department were approachable, friendly, and always willing to help. I noticed right away that people were just as eager to get to know me as I was to meet them. I really enjoyed learning directly from people in different roles and building those personal connections. Working closely with members of the marketing team, I was guided through projects in a way that gave me confidence to use my skills and creativity while always feeling supported.
I also had the chance to shape the internship around my strengths and professional goals. Over the summer I worked on a campaign for the Cardozo Society Happy Hour, designed posters for the Annual Meeting, filmed and edited promotional videos, and analyzed data to provide insights for the future. Beyond the technical skills, this internship showed me how much a positive, collaborative environment makes learning and problem-solving easier and more enjoyable.
Overall, my time at MJF was not only a chance to grow professionally but also an opportunity to be part of a team that genuinely supports one another. I’m grateful for the encouragement, guidance, and connections I’ve made, and I look forward to carrying these lessons with me in the future.
