Art Speaks: An Artivism Journey

This project invites artists and creatives to explore the powerful intersection of art and activism through interactive workshops featuring inspiring presentations and hands-on making. Together, participants will learn, create, and exchange ideas on how art can amplify social movements and respond to pressing issues. In partnership between the Rehovot and Minneapolis communities, this program is a collaborative journey in harnessing artistic expression for change.

In this virtual workshop, we will use the Piven method, which consists of creating images using everyday objects with the goal of experiencing a moment of self-reflection. Creating this way does not require any previous artistic experience or technical talent for drawing. Creating a collage with everyday objects is a window to free association in a nonjudgmental environment, stimulating reflection on the very essence of creativity. Hanoch’s art is about seeing what’s around us in a new way.
