Afghan Rescue + Eswatini Vaccines: IsraAID around the World
MJF and IsraAID invite you to a discussion with US CEO of IsraAID, Seth Davis, all about the role this important humanitarian organization is playing in world current events. Earlier this month, IsraAID and a group of women activists from around the world rescued dozens of Afghan women from Kabul, gathering 41 Afghans from various locations in Kabul and bussing them through Taliban checkpoints and over the northern border into Tajikistan before flying them to the UAE. Seth will speak more about this operation and the growing humanitarian cooperation between Israel and the UAE following the signing of the Abraham Accords. Additionally, we’ll learn how IsraAID dispatched a specialist medical, logistical, and psychosocial team to Eswatini at the invitation of the Government of Eswatini to support the country’s Ministry of Health in designing and implementing its national COVID-19 vaccination campaign.

For those interested in international development, Israeli contributions to the world, tikkun olam, and/or disaster response, we invite you to engage with these themes firsthand through this stimulating, informative hour. Minneapolis program chairs: Robert Yost & Dina Rahamim Blumenfield. Register here.
