Global Experience: Ukraine

August 12-18, 2019

Explore your roots and make a difference with the Minneapolis Jewish Federation and RAJMN. We’re heading to Volunteer Camp, where we’ll meet young adults from Ukraine and Germany to tackle service projects in the Jewish community

Who: Jewish adults (age 30s to 50s)
Where: Lviv, Ukraine (and surrounding cities)

Restore a Jewish cemetery destroyed by German occupiers in 1941.

Preserve the vanishing memory of Jewish heritage in Lviv by restoring the hurricane-damaged Jakub Glanzer Shul Synagogue and transforming it into a cultural Jewish center.

Tour Lviv and the surrounding area and learn about the history and challenges of the local Jewish community.

Meet with community members and hear firsthand how Federation overseas partner agencies assist Jewish communities in the FSU.

Land Package Only$700 (double occupancy). Single Supplement: $450
