Minnesotan Israel Leadership Institute Scholarship

Scholarship Information:

  • All scholarship requests are strictly confidential.
  • All scholarship applicants must be currently enrolled in college/university.
  • All scholarship applicants must reside in the Twin Cities area.
  • Priority will be given to Minnesotans and to first-time applicants.
  • This scholarship is offered for programs taking place outside of Israel.
  • Proof of program acceptance is required and must be submitted with the application.
  • The MILC Scholarship is not a needs-based grant.
  • Scholarships must be approved before the program begins.
  • Award amounts are based on program fees. Depending upon demand in any scholarship round, awards will be made accordingly.
  • Recipients of MILC scholarship are required to provide a service following the program attended. Services can include (but not limited to): social media updates during the program, at least one speaking engagement following the program, written essay etc. Documentation of this service must be sent to IsraelFellow@mnhillel.org.
  • Recipients of MILC scholarship are required to meet the Hillel Israel Fellow after the program for a follow-up meeting
  • Scholarships will not be given towards a program or individuals not supportive of Israel.
  • Applications should be submitted at least one month prior to program departure.
