TWIN CITIES CARDOZO SOCIETY

The Twin Cities Cardozo Society is a place for Jewish attorneys, judges, and law students to network and serve the community. We strengthen bonds among legal professionals through educational, social, and philanthropic activities, and offer opportunities for communal involvement and leadership. The Twin Cities Cardozo Society is an affinity group of the Minneapolis and St. Paul Jewish Federations. A gift to support either Federation’s Community Campaign is suggested for all Cardozo members.

Past events include:

  • The Annual Cardozo Society Dinner, our largest event of the year! This event honors both young leaders and career achievement professionals.
  • Lunch & Learns (in-person and hybrid) featuring Natan Sharansky, Kenneth Marcus, Bari Weiss, Professor Oren Gross, and so many others!
  • Happy hours and networking events.
  • Volunteering at our pro bono legal clinic in partnership with both Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Aid Services (SMRLS) and Interfaith Action.

TWIN CITIES MAIMONDIES SOCIETY

Named for Rabbi Moses Ben Maimon (also known as Maimonides or Rambam, perhaps the most famous Jewish physician of all time), the Twin Cities Maimonides Society is the place for Jewish healthcare professionals — people dedicated to healing the sick and committed to the notion of tikkun olam (repairing the world). This dynamic group participates in a wide range of activities, including networking and socializing, educational opportunities, volunteerism and Jewish communal involvement.

The Twin Cities Maimonides Society is an affinity group of the Minneapolis and St. Paul Jewish Federations. A gift to support either Federation’s Community Campaign is suggested for all Maimonides members.

HARRY CENTER FOR LEADERSHIP EXCELLENCE

For more than 30 years, the Harry Kay Center for Leadership Excellence (HKCLE) has inspired and assisted emerging leaders in addressing the issues and challenges facing Jews as a community and individually.
The successes of the HKCLE have brought passionate people together from both sides of the river, introduced a new generation of leaders to the struggles and opportunities in the Jewish community and given them the skills and tools to navigate them, and raised the profile of Jewish organizations here in the Twin Cities and around the world.

In the fall of 2023, we welcomed 30 new leaders to the Harry Kay family–Cohort XI.
