The Pearl Society’s Women of Intention awards honor six women in our community each year: Trailblazer, World-Saver, Flame-Keeper, Woman of Promise, Voice of Inspiration, and Community Champion. These are women in our Jewish community who respond to injustice with intention—who apply their personal grit and gifts to some of the most difficult issues facing our community and the world—who are indeed Women of Intention. We honor these women at our annual The Pearl Society’s Women of Intention event.
This year’s event will also feature a unique and inspiring speaker from Israel. Soad Abo Ajaj is a Bedouin woman active in empowering women and inspiring her community. She’ll share her story of how she makes a living through selling handicrafts that she and other women make.
